Eminem & Mariah Carey – A History Of Beef

Since Eminem released a brutal diss track targeting Nick Cannon and his wifey I thought I’d chronicle how this unusual beef started.

It all started when, after a few years of hostility between Em and Mariah after their alleged 11 month relationship in 2001, a track surfaced that appeared on Eminem’s latest album Relapse called Bagpipes From Baghdad which had a few lines taking shots at Mariah….

…..which caused Nick Cannon to write a heeeeyuuuge rant on his blog saying how he’s gonna destroy Eminem and goes on to call him a racist, the blog post culminates in Nick promising he’s, God forbid, gonna start rapping again.

After that all was quiet for about a month until Mariah released the video for Obsessed where she mocks Eminem and takes a few shots at him herself…

…then all was quiet again as the Hip Hop world waited on Eminems response and finally, a month after Obsessed dropped, Eminem released The Warning which absolutely tears Mariah and Nick apart. Its not very difficult to say who won this one, Eminem murdered this, this isn’t Nas vs. Jay, this is an incredible MC against an incredibly easy target showing the world why he is one of the best to ever do it.

Toy Story Double Feature Trailer

I didn’t expect this!!!!!

Two classics remade in 3D, and not the crappy red and blue glasses kind of 3D, the amazing, Coraline 3D that costs extra to go and see.

And if that isn’t exciting enough.

Well…..Err…….Wow!!!!

Errr….yeah!!!!

Spotted at Pause Police.

Wale – Pretty Girls feat. Gucci Mane

I wouldn’t ordinarily post anything to do with Mr. Mane but this track is quite good and you know, a cliché free rappers got to have some relevance in this climate.

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

Great cast of comedic actors. Check. Swearing in the trailer. Check. Original concept. Check

I hope this is as good as it looks.

Tron Legacy Trailer

I tried to post this yesterday but embedding was disabled on pretty much all the trailers but I just found a video with embedding enabled, anyway, i digress.

This looks incredible, visually it’s on another level compared to this years most CGI heavy film; Star Trek. Don’t know much about story though so it may just be another Transformers; all visual effects, no story. The soundtrack is being handled by the electro duo Daft Punk so it  will most likely be in keeping with the visual style of the movie. This film is out sometime in 2010.

Windows 7 Pricing

I meant to post this aaaaaaaaaagges ago but never got round to it. Anyway.

Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 N and Windows 7 Home Basic  are only available in developing countries at a discount price, lacking features like touch control, Windows Media Center and, specifically to Windows 7 N; Windows Media Player. The low prices on these versions are to combat rampant piracy in developing regions.
