Jay-Z Rhapsody Advert

This is one of the most creative and original adverts I’ve ever seen.

Hov keeps the classic album covers up front and the not so great album covers near the end, with the exception of American Gangster which he finishes with.

This would have been even better if the covers had been in chronological order but still.

Jay-Z feat. Drake – Off That

Last time I posted a download link for a Jay-Z track the RIAA filed a copyright claim against my blog, so what I did instead is upload the track to YouTube and post it here instead.

Anyway, this is crap, Timbaland’s adlibs clutter up the terrible beat, Jay-Z’s flow is horrible and Drake only raps the verses, I expected a lot more from Jay and Drake and I’m not a fan of Timbaland(mainly because of the awful adlibs).

Not good Jay, not good at all.

Jay-Z – Run This Town feat. Rihanna & KanYe West(Video)

The Hip Hop blogging community were on a blogging arms race to get this video posted the earliest and MTV Germany beat them all to it by dropping it before they were supposed to, HA!!!!!

Anyway I love this video, it matches the tone of the song perfectly, shame the song isn’t all that, Brooklyn Go Hard would have been a better first single.

Couple of things missing from that, namely my two favourite Jay-Z tracks of last year; Brooklyn Go Hard and Jockin’ Jay-Z. Hmm, I guess they didn’t fit in with the theme of the album but both of them tracks are better that Run This Town and they aren’t even bonus cuts?!?!?!?!?! SMH!
